What a day!  What a week!!  A rest, gentle music and watercolours.

This one is a beauty! – the pose is graceful and fluid, the light is just right. I like the attention to detail in the bathing suit stripes. It lifts the figure out of the ordinary.

Your work is just stunning. They always have a soft beauty to them, like seeing life through a mist and watching the details materialise.

Hi Katherine – thanks, that is beautiful feedback.

What a great painting. Love the way you captured her standing on the beach. Did you work from life? Or from a photo.

It’s warming up, but we’re still wearing coats here in NYC! This painting makes me long for a summer day at the beach.

this is from a photo – which makes it easier to get the details (they don’t move so much) but also easier to overwork – thanks hey

This is lovely! So are your other seascapes but I like the addition of a very well done figure.
