small adventures
Watercolour is such a wonderful, ethereal way to capture a small piece of the beauty of what we see each day.
We never know how or when the next adventure will unfold in our journey. So it is best to be prepared. Then, when opportunity arises we can make the most of it. And if it doesn’t arise, we can go out and create our own adventure.
I prepare by carrying a sketchbook and a small painting kit wherever I go. I love to sit and paint where I am. Sometimes I take my sketches and photos back to my studio to create finished paintings.
This exhibition is a collection of these watercolours.
